Pongal Tea-light Candle Holder

Leather Puppetry used to be a form of story telling and entertainment in Andhra Pradesh. Beautiful designs of mythological figures are hand drawn using fine brushes to make puppets.

This T-light candle holder is hand painted by our Tholubommalata artisans from Andhra Pradesh.  The leather strip is mounted on flame resistant glass, which is set on a wooden base.
